Question: What is one thing that teachers have to do that has virtually no purpose?
Answer: Input data and run reports. I think the teacher’s job should be to analyze the reports and figure out how to teach the kids according to the data. Teachers spend so much time figuring out what their dang password is, what the updates to the software/program are and they sit in hours and hours of training to learn the nuances of something that they just need about 5 reports from. And to be honest, I find that a lot of teachers make mistakes on inputting data because they have a zillion other things to do – and the mistakes compound the process of using the data and take seemingly forever to sort out!
Hire something who loves precision, hire someone who loves programming and technology and have them go at it. Input the data, print the most used reports and get them to the teachers to USE!
