Jill’s field experience includes: Owner and Managing Director of Jackson Consulting, Senior Educational Consultant, Presenter and Keynote Speaker at State and National Conferences, Professional Program Manager and Educational Services Manager for CORE (Consortium on Reading Excellence), Reading Specialist, School Site Administrator and a Classroom Teacher. Jill obtained a B.A. in Liberal Studies with an English Emphasis from University of Redlands and a M.A. in Education specializing in Educational Management from University of La Verne.
Lynda brings her highly successful state-level leadership experiences and lessons-learned to our clients. She provides large-scale improvement knowledge and wisdom to our clients as they work to move their entire system to higher levels of achievement.
Lynda’s field experience includes: Wyoming Department of Education Early Learning/Literacy Supervisor, Reading First State Coordinator for Wyoming Department of Education, Presenter, Principal, Assistant Principal and a Classroom Teacher. Lynda received her B.S in Elementary Education and M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Black Hills State University. Distinctions include completing an Administrative Endorsement Program at the University of Wyoming.
Kim brings a much-appreciated secondary education perspective to our team! Her straightforward, analytical approach is one that cuts right to the work that needs to be done immediately to get results in the classroom. She helps administrators and teachers figure out exactly what needs to be done right now and helps them save the “fluff” for later.
Kim’s field experience includes: Academic Leader, Director, Assistant Principal, Presenter, Consultant, and Classroom Teacher. Kim received her B.S. in Education from Arkansas State University and her M.A. in Secondary Administration with Middle School Endorsement from Southeast Missouri State University. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Kansas.
Gwen is a “teacher’s teacher” and provides deep knowledge and experience in program implementation and in working with diverse populations. Her knowledge of the realities of school life and her ability to navigate tough spots during implementation benefits the reform process.
Gwen’s field experience includes: Masters of Ed. Instructional Design, Instructional Specialist and Response to Intervention Consultant for the Montana Office of Public Instruction, SRA Consultant-Corrective Reading and Reading Mastery, Title I Instructor, Gifted and Talented Instructor, Reading First Reading Coach, Presenter and a Classroom Teacher. Gwen received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Montana State University-Billings. Distinctions include being named Lame Deer Schools Teacher of the Year.
Karla brings a real-life perspective to her graphic design and editing work, as she is an educator just like us! She is a great addition to our team as she shapes the style of the content, materials and design at Jackson Consulting.
Karla’s field experience includes: Curriculum Writer, School to Work (SCANS), BTSA Support Provider, Standards, Assessment and Articulation Council (SAAC), Peer Assistance Review (PAR) Consultant, Youth Summer Youth Employment and Training (SYETP) Program Coordinator, a Classroom teacher, Department Chair and Faculty Chair. Karla received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Education from Auburn University. Distinctions include being named as a Kiwanis Teacher of the Year and a Burbank Unified School District Secondary Teacher of the Year for Jordan Middle School.
