About the Virtual Summit

You go into a training room, classroom, library or meeting room in your school or district. You join a community of like-minded instructional coaches from all across the United States. You are all focused on two things: how to serve teachers even better and make your coaching stick.

This is a new category of training, both personal to your team, but simultaneously connected to coaches in five different time zones. Their questions help you become a better coach and your insights help push them further.

It works like this… once you sign up we will mail you books & materials two weeks before the event.

You will then have 7 days to take the training.  The training is meant to be taken in 2-day succession, but you can rewind & re-watch as much as you need.

The available 2023 training windows are:

  • March 13-19, 2023
  • July 17-23, 2023
  • September 18-24, 2023

If you have the Virtual Training Summit and the How to Coach Teachers book, you have EVERYTHING to give your coaching a boost!

The training looks like this:

Telling the truth about teaching and coaching… and getting on with life! Well… that’s me in a nutshell! I’m Jill Jackson and I’m a teacher who has a great life that I also want to go out and live!

Since 2002, I’ve traveled over 1,250,000 miles and have trained thousands of educators about how to manage the latest education crazes so they don’t lose their marbles. And throughout all of those miles and time spent with educators, I’ve come to realize this: we are best (and we get the best results) when we keep things simple in the classroom and for teachers and kids.

I know that simple works and I’m practically obsessed with helping you simplify your coaching life. I also know that successful teachers are happy teachers… and I’m totally convinced that all of us teacher-types have to have a life outside of education to be happy in the classroom.

So… let’s say that we get on with the simple part, OK?

What Past Participants are Saying!

{

Instructional Coach in Louisana says:

Thanks for this coaching model! Thanks for reminding us that although we love our calendars and our planning, we have to quit with the planning and go get started!! I hear your voice in my head every time I get out my colored pens and sticky notes and try to overcomplicate things!

{

Principal in Louisiana says:

As a principal I feel I should have taken those in need of intensive assistance all along… this really is a very effective, simple system I can use to get back on track.

{

Assistant Superintendent in Washington says:

It felt engaging because we could interact with Jill more regularly that we would be able to if we were participants in a large-group training.

{

Instructional Coach in South Dakota says:

This is so simple and easy to follow!

{

Instructional Coach in Michigan says:

Jill is awesome! Her practical take on addressing teacher needs is helping us to chip away at larger problems in order to improve the school as a whole.

{

District Coordinator in Alaska says:

Jill, you always give me the information I need at the moment I’m struggling.

{

Instructional Coach in Montana says:

I appreciated being able to talk through ideas with those around me while I was thinking of them but didn’t feel rude for interrupting. Texts still allowed me to feel connected with Jill.

{

Regional Director in British Columbia says:

This is great! We are having stimulating conversations around our systems approach with all of our regional principals, principals and instructional coaches in the room!
